Climbing Museum Remodel

Grand Re-Opening Scheduled for April 26

The Yosemite Climbing Association (YCA) is excited to announce the Yosemite Climbing Museum, located in Mariposa, CA, is being remodeled. When finished, we’ll have increased our exhibit and gift shops spaces, improved the flow through the museum, diversified the representation, and improved the accessibility. Since the inception of the Yosemite Climbing Archives (the predecessor to YCA) in the early 1990’s, one of the goals has been to include the stories of female and adaptive climbers. That vision will now be realized thanks to the generosity of the private donors who have made this remodel possible. If you’d like to be a part of this exciting change, please check out our Online Auction Fundraiser for some amazing signed prints from professional climbers, fantastic experience packages, outdoor gear, and more. There’s something for everyone and all proceeds benefits benefit the Yosemite Climbing Association and the Yosemite Climbing Museum remodel project.

The Grand Re-opening will take place on April 26th, with a ribbon cutting ceremony from 12-1 PM, followed by an open house. We hope you join us for this celebration!
