Come Hang at the Perch!
We started establishing the Yosemite Climbing Association headquarters, museum, and gallery last year in August and we’ve made incredible progress in the last couple months. I’ve dropped in every other week or so and every time, I’ve been really impressed with how everything is coming together. We’ve painted the walls, hung dozens of photos, and built display cases. The community has been rallying around the effort and though we aren’t open to the public yet, visitors and friends have been dropping in to witness the evolution of our space. The dream is becoming a reality!
There’s more to be done, track lighting to be installed and exhibits to be designed; we’re expecting to open in the spring.
