For our first International Facelift we visited El Potrero Chico just outside of Hidalgo, Mexico. This unique geologic feature is home to world class single and multi-pitch climbing. Along with its amazing climbing theres a dedicated core community of climbers and park lovers surrounding this climbing mecca. We were so grateful to partner with various local businesses, individuals, organizations and schools to gather over 200 volunteers! With everyones help we collected over 1,500 lbs of trash and worked on two special projects. After the clean-up we had a raffle, piñata, and party at La Posada en El Potrero Chico.
We’d love to send a huge THANK YOU to all our local partners who made this a memorable and successful event. Thank you to La Posada en El Potrero Chico for their help with everything!
